International Visitors from Uganda and China November 2009

We have recently been visited by Headteachers from Uganda and China. During their visits they spent time touring the school, visiting classes and observing lessons. A special assembly was also shown with performances of dance, music, singing and a special PowerPoint presentation of the sites of London done by our children.

Downsell Primary School is involved in many projects with schools from around the globe.
This is a result of visits to different countries to see how education is taught there. The study visits give teachers the opportunity to view different methods of teaching and develop themselves as teachers.

We currently have links with France and China. We hope to create more partnerships that benefit the school and the global community.
